Wooden Cooking Tools

If you're using period or modern aluminum, even if you don't buy from me you should be using wooden stirring and scraping tools to avoid chipping aluminum particles into your food.

You should wipe your wooden tools with a food safe oil (Link: such as mineral oil, tung oil, or unboiled linseed oil )( follow instructions on oil containers) prior to use to prevent absorption of food particles into the grain of the wood.
